The Nile platform works to close the gap in epilepsy care through a better user experience
Nile, an epilepsy management platform that is changing the course of care by making the journey of every epilepsy patient more predictable and controllable, today announces the Epilepsy Foundation has selected Nile as the seizure diary partner to migrate users from the My Seizure Diary app.
Nile’s digital platform consists of a stand-alone patient app and healthcare provider (HCP) portal. The intuitive patient app helps patients to track symptoms and medications, and uses data science to support patients with their treatment plan. Nile can also provide peace of mind between physician consultations by connecting patients with their physicians, sharing educational content and alerting patients when seizures and side effects warrant doctor’s consultation.
The HCP portal shows the status of patients at-a-glance and virtually informs and supports their patients in-between visits. All patient-provided information can be accessed in real-time through a patient dashboard and doctors can set thresholds for which events or side effects they want to be informed about. Nile also features a medication titration manager that supports HCPs to enter complex titration schedules.
Nile will allow current users of the Epilepsy Foundation’s My Seizure Diary to load their existing data into Nile effective February 15, 2022. Users of My Seizure Diary will be provided a migration platform to initiate their data transfer and import health information into Nile with just a few clicks.
After reviewing Nile’s seizure diary functionality, the Epilepsy Foundation found that Nile provided the best fit for a stable user experience and product development infrastructure.
