Entrepreneur Business Live Spotlights Neurodiversity in Business at Sold-Out Manchester Event

The 41st Entrepreneur Business Live in Manchester spotlighted neurodiversity in entrepreneurship, blending raw insights, real stories, and charity support for Wood Street Mission

-- Beneath the polite hum of LinkedIn thought-leaders and the algorithmic clatter of hustle culture, there exists a different sort of movement — quieter, maybe, but infinitely more real. And on one spring evening, it stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight, in the shape of Entrepreneur Business Live.

Held at the beautiful Bonded Warehouse a gathering not of suits and spreadsheets, but of souls with spark convened. A tribe of misfits, mavericks, and minds wired like a firework factory — ignited by Richard Moore, the event’s host, founder, and ringmaster of real-talk business.

Entrepreneur Business Live (EBL) returned to Manchester with its 41st edition, bringing together founders, creators, and thought leaders to discuss neurodiversity in entrepreneurship — a topic often sidelined in traditional business circles. Held at the Bonded Warehouse, the event blended honest conversation, community spirit, and charitable purpose under the leadership of EBL founder Richard Moore.

Known for its unconventional approach to networking and business development, Entrepreneur Business Live once again broke the mold. This time, the event tackled a long-overdue topic: neurodiversity. Moore acknowledged the oversight in his opening remarks, noting that it was the first time in seven years that the subject had taken center stage.

The Panel: Powerhouses Assembled

Lea Turner – The queen of unapologetic authenticity. Lea didn’t hold back, sharing how being brutally yourself online isn’t just freeing — it’s profitable. Expect laughter, sass, and a couple of mic drops.

Beth Jewkes – With her razor-sharp mind and generous heart, Beth unpacked the art of building a brand that actually connects with people (and no, it’s not about colour palettes and Canva).

Sophie Lee – The systems queen and calm-in-the-chaos guru. Sophie talked about juggling business, motherhood, and staying sane in a world that’s constantly screaming “more!”

Luke Manton – Arguably the most inspiring voice of the night, Luke shared his powerful journey of running a business with Tourette’s, reminding us all that barriers can be beautiful springboards.

Kate Isichei – The internal communications wizard. Kate pulled back the curtain on how actual human connection inside companies can fuel innovation (and why your team group chat isn’t cutting it).

What unfolded was far from a standard panel discussion. Attendees described the evening as emotional, enlightening, and energising — where mental health, masking, and burnout were discussed alongside resilience, systems, and self-awareness. Business advice came wrapped in storytelling, vulnerability, and the kind of insight you rarely hear on stage.

Mission Beyond the Mic:

True to its mission, EBL wasn't just talk. Proceeds from the event were donated to Wood Street Mission, a charity supporting children and families in need across Manchester. This charitable component remains core to the EBL format — blending purpose with practicality at every event.

“It’s not about being perfect,” said Richard Moore, Founder of Entrepreneur Business Live. “It’s about showing up. Being useful. And if we can do that while laughing and raising money for charity, then I’m in.”

Attendees lingered long after the official program ended, trading ideas, contact details, and — in some cases — life stories. The message was clear: neurodiversity isn’t a buzzword. It’s a reality for many entrepreneurs — and it deserves to be heard, celebrated, and supported.

Special thanks to the incredible event team that brought this together.
